The Steve Barnfield Trophy

2025 WINNER: ROSE SAWYER

This award was introduced in 2018 and recognises the club member who has shown the most improvement in performance over the previous calendar year.

Steve Barnfield was a mainstay of Royal Tunbridge Wells Parkrun and by his enthusiasm, encouraged many newer runners to join Tunbridge Wells Harriers. The trophy was introduced in his memory after he sadly passed away from cancer.

A shortlist of candidates is created, although club members can also nominate themselves or others for this short list, before all members vote to choose the recipient.

Details of previous winners can be found here.
