Going strong since 1982, the Tunbridge Wells Harriers has grown from a handful of original London Marathon finishers into a thriving community of over 300 members! Sporting their iconic blue-and-yellow "deckchair" vests, this welcoming club caters to all abilities—from casual joggers enjoying summer "hashes" to elite athletes winning Kent Grand Prix titles.
Based at the Nevill Ground, the club is deeply rooted in the community, hosting a legendary half marathon that has raised hundreds of thousands of pounds for charity, alongside the famous Eridge Park 10, once dubbed the "Best Race in the World." With a packed calendar of road, trail, and cross-country sessions, the Harriers perfectly blend competitive success with unbeatable local camaraderie!
COMMITTEE
The committee manages the day to day operation of the club and steers it according to the direction set by members at the AGM and by the constitution. Committee members are voted in at the club’s AGM, normally for a two year term, and represent the breadth of the club’s activities.
