Club Constitution & Governance
Good governance is the foundation of a well-run club and Tunbridge Wells Harriers is fully compliant with the Club Standards set by England Athletics. This protects the club’s values and reputation whilst looking after the club’s funds and people. It also holds those responsible accountable for the club’s actions and decisions. It’s represented by the structures, constitution (rules) policies and practices in operation in the club.
The club members approve the constitution and terms of reference, ensuring that the club’s guiding principles and framework reflect their collective agreement. Meanwhile, the committee retains the flexibility to amend bye-laws and policies in response to evolving operational needs.
