Weekly parkrun Results - 12th Sept 2026

Sorry for the late report as Autobob was away seeing his parents. One week until the Hospice in the Weald 10k and the nice weather is holding for the weekends at least, with a gorgeous morning for those of us in the South East. Autobob, Nathan and Anthony ran to Kingdom making it a properly nice start to the weekend.

We had 77 harriers out running across 22 parkruns with 13 volunteers, 14 first timers, 5 course PBs, 3 Autobob SBs and 4 Autobob PBs

Yet another 4 new Parkruns this week:

Kingsbury Water – East of the M42 and Su1on Coldfield where a young Autobob lived, 2 laps around a local lake. Looks quite picturesque.

Yowie – Even further inland into Queensland, the name comes from a folklore creature that lives in the outback

Henlow Bridge Lakes – another lake inbetween Letchworth and Biggleswade, just off the A1

Alstervorland – next to the mighty Außenalster lake in Hamburg, looks like it has a good café a;erwards too

Notable performances this week for Stewart Mcilwham and Thomas Watling achieving Autobob PBs and Lucille Joannes and Lynne Bristow achieving SBs.

A few parkrun milestones this week, congrats to Joshua Pra1 on 300 parkruns, Pete Holmes on 250 parkruns and Peter Lyus on 100 parkruns. I’m sure the parkrun app is very happy with you and has lots of badges and stuff.
